Mailing Lists

The mailing lists are the main communication channels for the XWiki community. There are 3 of them that you can post to:

  • users AT xwiki.org: For questions about using XWiki, suggestions for improvements, ideas, etc.
  • devs AT xwiki.org: For XWiki development itself.
  • notifications AT xwiki.org: All SVN commits diff, JIRA issues and Continuous Build failures are sent to this list. XWiki developers must be subscribed to this list to follow what's going on.

Before posting on the lists, please make sure to follow these posting tips.

Before sending mails to any of the lists mentioned above you'll need to be subscribed to the list. You can do so by clicking on the links above (you can also use these links for unsubscribing). Please also note that large emails - over 100K - will be rejected when sent to these lists.

Security Mailing List

This is a private security mailing list, used for internal discussions about open security issues.

  • security AT xwiki.org: For reporting security issues and internal discussions about open security issues.

Unlike public mailing list above, this mailing list is only accessible for core commiters and some other trusted persons.  Unregistered users can not read archives of this mailing list, because it might contain details of still open security issues that can be easily misused.

However, anyone can write to this list to report security issues (no subscription needed).  If you want to contribute to discussions about security, start contributing and ask for access to security list on the development mailing list.  Commiters will decide whether you will get access or not.
