Design Process
The process involves the creation of specifications, analysis, mockups, partial prototypes and even final versions of the proposals made. The aim of these proposals are to improve XWiki's UI look&feel, usability and interaction.
- Design improvements/development are made according to the current XWiki Enterprise Roadmap
- Design discussions are made on IRC or on the mailing lists
- design discussions on mailing lists have [Proposal] in the subject field
- design discussions on mailing lists are usually sent both to (users AT xwiki.org) and (devs AT xwiki.org), depends on what kind of feedback is requested
- if you are not following the mailing lists, you can browse for the proposal mails on XWiki's Markmail mailing list archives (example: [Proposal] Rights Management UI)
- there are also archives for IRC discussions
- Design proposal deliverables are located in several places:
- use cases/requirements are located on Design space (look for investigation tag)
- mockups/prototypes are located on incubator's Improvements space
