Save with Change Request

Major changes in the documentation must be done under a Change Request. The Change Request on xwiki.org is managed through the Change Request application.

  • When creating a new page, use the "Request Creation" button as in the following image:

  • When saving the changes, use the "Save as Change Request" button from the Edit Actions so the Documentation Team can review the content added or modified:

    • You can save the changes in two ways, depending on the needs:
    • If you are making a Change Request for a page that doesn't have any opened Change Requests, put the changes in a new Change Request by defining a title for it:

    • If the changes are related to an existing Change Request, or are concerning a page that already has an opened CR (e.g., you are moving content from a page to another, or convert an old doc page to the new doc guide) put the changes in the same Change Request so it's easier to review and publish the changes in the pages altogether. For this, select an existing Change Request as in the following image:
