Mailing Lists

The mailing lists are the main communication channels for the XWiki community. There are 3 of them:

  • users AT xwiki.org: For questions about using XWiki, suggestions for improvements, ideas, etc.
  • devs AT xwiki.org: For XWiki development itself.
  • notifications AT xwiki.org: All SVN commits diff, JIRA issues and Continuous Build failures are sent to this list. XWiki developers must be subscribed to this list to follow what's going on.
Before sending mails to any of the lists mentioned above you'll need to be subscribed to the list. You can do so by clicking on the links above. Please also note that large emails will be rejected when sent to these lists.

Forum

The XWiki mailing lists can be accessed as a Forum using Nabble or Gmane.

Gmane and Nabble allow you to post to the XWiki mailing lists without being subscribed to the list. While this is good for asking a one off question, we encourage XWiki users to subscribe to the XWiki mailing lists because open source is about Cooperation. You get the XWiki software for free. The least you can do as a user is contribute back by being subscribed to the list and help answer other's questions, suggest ideas and improvements, etc). hello.. I can not subscribe to the mailing-list(s).. I just don't get any confirmation email back…

I couldn't even connect because objectweb is broken. I would like to suggest and improve some things. But no chance. This is a very frustrating day. No downloads, no mailinglists, mavenbuild didn't work.
