- In 2007, an experimental Summer of Code project (http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/GoogleSummerOfCode/Google+Docs+Integration) successfully integrated Google Docs with XWiki, demonstrating the edition inside XWiki of a Wiki table as a Google Spreadsheet document. The Google Docs API at that time had serious limitations, not allowing to do more. The objective of this project is to continue the Google Docs integration, by allowing to edit an attachment in Google Docs, to support other document types, such as Text and Presentations, to support the new rendering engine and new XWiki 2.0 syntax, and also to improve the performance and usability of the integration.
