XWiki now has a very powerful WYSIWYG editor based on GWT which includes a wizard for inserting wiki macros (for example, for displaying message boxes, footnotes, mathematical formulas, etc).
This GSoC project consists of improving the macro editing mechanism, by allowing to use macro-specific WYSIWYG editors: a mathematical expression editor for the formula macro, a SVG editor for the svg macro, etc.
